Porcelain
Man made, designed to last, porcelain is becoming more and more popular in the design industry even though it comes with a hefty price tag. With digital printing technology, they can mimic modern concrete looks or veiny marble classics. Porcelain countertops not only do not stain, etch or crack, they are also resistant to detergents, chemicals and blemishes– even the strongest paints can be removed from its surface. They are highly scratch and abrasion resistant which is ideal for high-use areas.
Its one of the most hygienic surfaces. Any germs, dirt or bacteria can simply be wiped away using your favorite disinfectant solution. They never have to be sealed and are impervious to damage from extreme temperatures, humidity and UV light.
